Our Story

What started out as cooking with Black Thought from the Roots for his private dinner parties 25 years ago (ask about the exploding oven!!) is now Break Bread Union, a collective of culinary ventures centered around a passion for cooking amazing food for my community and honoring them by using better quality ingredients while providing great service.  Philly born and raised.. still cooking with Black Thought..tons of private parties and events under the belt, yet, somehow we are just getting started.
